If you’re flying with a low-cost carrier like Peach Aviation from Kansai International Airport (KIX), you’ll be departing from Terminal 2, not the main Terminal 1. This guide provides detailed, step-by-step instructions to help you get from Kansai Airport Station to Terminal 2 smoothly.
Route from Kansai Airport Station to KIX Terminal 2
Exit Kansai Airport Station and Head Right Towards AEROPLAZA
Upon exiting the ticket gates at Kansai Airport Station, you’ll notice signs indicating directions to Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Follow the signs pointing to Terminal 2 by turning right.
As you proceed, you’ll see AEROPLAZA on your right. Enter AEROPLAZA to continue your journey.

Inside AEROPLAZA: Take the Escalator Down and Board the Shuttle Bus
Once inside AEROPLAZA, look to your left for signs directing you to the free shuttle bus bound for Terminal 2.
Take the nearby escalator down to the ground level. At the bottom, turn left and continue following the signs leading to the Terminal 2 shuttle bus stop.
The shuttle bus to Terminal 2 departs from this location. The ride takes approximately 7 to 9 minutes, delivering you directly to Terminal 2.
Arrival at Terminal 2: Proceed to Your Flight
The shuttle bus will drop you off right in front of Terminal 2. Enter the terminal to complete your check-in and security procedures.
At Kansai Airport, Peach Aviation flights board directly from the tarmac, requiring passengers to ascend stairs to the aircraft. This offers a unique opportunity to see the aircraft up close before boarding.
